Miranda’s recipe:
1 glass cold-pressed coconut milk
1 glass coconut water
1 tablespoon acai powder
1 goji berries
1 tablespoon spirulina
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
1 tablespoon maca powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 1/2 tablespoons vegan rice protein powder
And of course locally sourced fresh greens and fruits.

“In relation to alkalizing my body through food I eat a lot of lemons, figs, limes, almonds, pineapple,  umeboshi plums, seaweeds, kiwifruit, passion fruit, pears, alfalfa sprouts, apricots, avocados, figs, grapes, nectarines, peaches, peas, pumpkin, raspberries, strawberries, squash, sweet corn, turnips, artichokes, brussel sprouts, cherries, leeks, okra, onions, brown rice, chestnuts.  I eat a lot of lentils, black-eyed peas, blueberries, cranberries, prunes, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds also even though they fall into the moderately acidic range, I eat them because of their other properties and I eat them with higher alkaline foods.

Adding about 3 cups of kale and/or swiss chard to the mix is rarely a bad idea. Getting the fresh, living leafy greens into our pie-holes on the daily is mandatory.
